Facebook message question

I don`t know if this is the right forum.
On my Facebook page when I bring up the `Messages sent` page, by some messages I`ve sent there is a small black `curly` arrow yet it`s not by all messages.
Does anyone know what it means?

    They're messages you've already replied to I think.

    No these are messages I`ve sent out, not replies. It`s really bugging me at the moment. Whenever I click on the `arrow` nothing happens......weird.

    They're messages you've already replied to and yours is the last message in the conversation.

    The ones without the curly arrow means they've replied last.
