Problem with apps

Hi

I am fairly new to the whole tablet scene so please be gentle with me.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy tablet and downloaded some games apps from Google play store.

They were working fine until today and now some of the games won't load. When I try to open them I get a black screen and then it just returns to my desktop and yet others are working fine.

I have also noticed that daily updates have stopped (they give bonus coins every day)

They are all free games so no payment issue.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have made sure that the daily updates box is checked and cleared the cache and still they won't open

Can anyone help please I was really enjoying playing these games

    I'm afraid I'm no help, but you'd be better off posting this in forum section dedicated to tablets. They'll be able to help.

    I know this sounds silly but have you tried restarting the device? Just turning it off and on again. I know that's worked when things have gone a bit weird on my ipad.

    Yes I have done that but still no joy. Its just weird that some apps work and others don't even when they worked fine yesterday.

    Do you get the message that the app is not installed?

    It might be that the offending apps are installed on a second microSD card & it has not mounted on the system properly.

    Check in the settings /storage section.

    I wonder if it can't get an internet connection.

    To check that theory: can you still access web sites, email, etc?

    Download "Task Manager" and use it to stop all other tasks and clear out memory. Then reboot.

    Sorry, I have only just seen the replies.

    I have now done a reset back to factory settings and still no joy.

    It says the game is installed but just will not open, no message, just returns to desktop.

    The wifi connection is fine.
