I'd have to say EastEnders, sensational acting by Jake Wood, Gillian Wright, Charlie Brooks and the amazing Lacey Turner.

    Definitely EastEnders.

Acting was brilliant, storyline was fab and the script was perfect.

Lacey Turner, Jake Wood and Charlie Brooks were my standouts.

I've enjoyed both Corrie(minus Tracy) and EastEnders tonight. I missed Emmerdale

I've enjoyed both equally because they were both very different it's hard to compare.

Janine stabbing herself was the biggest shock and WTF moment for me so EE hands down.

Emmerdale was really satisfying and I haven't seen Corrie yet but nothing could top EastEnders. I'm so glad they made it all about Max and Stacey at the end - absolutely heartbreaking and totally mesmerising. Best episode of the year.

I found both Corrie and EE underwhelming, in particular compared to recent Christmas specials, but I think EE had by far the stronger storyline, even if it wasn't executed very well, and credit to them, the cast were all really strong tonight.

EastEnders. Amazing tonight! Top drawer stuff.

Best bit was Janine stabbing herself. Totally didn't see that coming!!

    EastEnders by a long way.

I wasn't expecting much from Coronation Street but Emmerdale was the most disappointing, it totally fell flat. EastEnders wasn't exactly a classic but was very strong, on par with last year and better than 2008 but way off the great 2007 episodes.

The Corrie spoilers sounded really underwhelming with more boring Tracy so I'm not surprised that Corrie wasn't up to much. Having said that it never really is at this time of year. I think the last Xmas Day Corrie I enjoyed was about 10 years ago.

I enjoyed Emmerdale but EE was the best tonight by a long way!

Coronation Street was amazing whereas EE was dull as ditch water. Nothing new then :(

    Corrie had nothing happen.
My dad wanted to watch it becuase he thought it would be good on xmas day but by 7:40pm we had turned over.
He actually doesn't watch any of the soaps

    Anyway EastEnders was outstanding tonight
Edge of seat drama and a nice happy ending for stacey

    Loved the end credits too

EE had too much happen. Since when did Max still love Stacey?? Why did that slapper get Julia's theme??
