How did you get the opportunity to draw for Louis Smith and JME and what did they think of their drawings?
I got these opportunities through a good friend I met at university, Dumi Siwo, who has been very supportive of my art from the beginning. I didn’t present the portrait of Louis personally but I was told he was in a state of mild shock, just staring at it for ages – I’m told this is a good thing. It was fantastic that he appreciated it so much, and he sent a very kind message on twitter. He said ‘it’s strange saying it’s beautiful when it’s my face, but your work is beautiful’ That was awesome.
Yes, it seems James is quite short! Esp. when stood next to our Louis who we keep discovering isn't exactly the tallest person in the world either, haha.
Slowish news day for us and I've been so swamped with work lately. Didn't actually leave the office until 9.30 last night!
