An interesting selection of artists, as per usual.
I don't know why Jools gets so much stick (mostly from the X Factor generation, I suppose). It's about the only place on TV you find a wide variety of music. Nobody is going to like it all but it beats any TV Saturday night talent show.

I'm not sure that there is an X Factor generation, it's watched by people of all ages. You just need to have a high tolerance for bad singers and hyperbole. It is possible to enjoy both. I do.
She isn't the best singer in the world, but she ain't that bad, certainly in a different league to the likes of Cheryl Cole, who regularly commits crimes against music.
Why on earth is Cee Lo singing the censored version of Fuck You on a post watershed show?
It's probably going to get repeated during an afternoon or something, and you just know that someone with complaints on speed dial would be watching out for it.

Usually it is, but I can't find a repeat listed this year.

Plan B - They should have stuck with Plan A. Assuming Plan A didn't involve music.
You always get a wide spectrum of acts on Jools. Talented to utterly talentless.
Her album is fantastic. It's like hearing Karen Carpenter reborn.
You know, that was what I was thinking as I listened. Only maybe a touch deeper?
and Happy new year everyone
To me she sounded halfway between Karen Carpenter and Dusty Springfield.

Doesn't really matter. She's Kylie.
Happy New Year All BTW
I really wouldn't mind...
