My mum came up with the theory that far from having an affair, Les is meeting her

This is what I have been thinking too! I have been thinking it could be Donna, but now I think the twist is that Vincent is Les's son!
Not true. My friend's friend is black, and he is married to a white woman. They have a child and the child is black, not mixed.
So why did they go on holiday together?

My guess would be they possibly have a child, a sibling or parent in common.

Yes I agree that he loves Pam too, but they looked like they were having an affair in the park and when he gave her jewellery in the Cafe. Neither of them are denying an affair either. Les did not deny the affair to grandson Paul and nor did claudette to Vincent...
I think the key to all of this is hidden in Paul's hairline. Or rather, the lack of.

No, the child is mixed, it just doesn't have the lighter skin that some mixed kids do. So I agree that Les could be the Daddy.
