Dead or Alive - which singer/band would you MOST want to see performing on stage now?
MY first thought would be QUEEN.

The Kinks during their mid-to-late 60s heyday
Amy Winehouse now, as brilliant as she was in Brighton.
I wouldn't mind seeing either The Jackson 5 or Michael Jackson performing on an Off The Wall/Thriller tour.
The reality of this is that I want to see The Jackson 5 when they reform next year as well as Led Zeppelin (I do hope they go on tour). I also want to see Amy Winehouse's tour in 2008-
2009 to promote her new album out this time next year. I'd go and see The Zutons live again (probably) if they came out with a new album.

There is currently a great bit of footage of Chicago at this link. Jimi Hendrix apparently thought that Terry Kath was a far better guitarist than him. How true that might be is anyone's guess of course.

Thanks for the link - I really enjoyed that:D
I am glad you liked it. Very talented musicians.
But it did last week and I can truly say it is the best concert I've been to. Not because if the hype etc but because they ROCKED!!
I'd love to see Queen (with Freddie obv) but that really is never going to happen.
Saw them seven times on the same tour ten years ago, still waiting for the next one...
Actually, yeah... I've heard the Wings albums, and Denny Laine and Jimmy McCulloch (sp?) are damn fine musicians. But that was before I was born, most people I know who were around at the time detested Wings because they saw it as a bastardization of the Beatles' legacy, and Lennon as the true keeper of the flame. I had no prejudices and particularly like the middle two albums (Venus and Mars, Speed of Sound).
