Travolta - To Weave or Not to Weave?

Why oh why is John Travolta wearing such a hideous weave? I mean, if he wants to wear one, it's up to him but surely a man with the resources he has can afford one that doesn't look like lego hair / boot polish fancy dress.

I like JT, but he looks so odd recently with the hair and the makeup

Here he is au naturel, sans weave

and here is his most recent weave:

...it's a mess in my opinion!

There's nothing wrong with wearing a weave / wig, many celebs do but JT's is by far the worst I've ever seen.. thoughts?

His hair does look daft. I was thinking it looks like an action man`s. Much better natural for me.

It looks as though he has painted it on and it is much too dark for his age.

I'm pretty sure we have a cushion from Next made out of that soft furry fabric :o
Surely he could afford better than that?

Scientology claims it can cure cancer yet it can't tackle baldness. Maybe all those dead alien souls John is exorcising from his body are taking the hair with them. :D

It looks embarrassingly obvious, as in, it's a wig! Nobody gets to their fifties without having a grey hair on their head. It also looks utterly ridiculous because his sideburns are the colour they should be. He needs to get rid of that wig, pronto!

That's a bizarre hair-do he's got. More of a hair-don't. It looks like someone's slapped a brushful of Dulux matt black across his bonce.

He looks okay without it. He's going to have to wear a hat in films if he sticks with the velcro hair. ;)

Just had a thought - perhaps the wig is a ploy to distract attention from his ridiculous beliefs?

If he's so into Scientology, why should it matter to him who knows about his beliefs? I, personally, would be embarrassed if I was a member of Scientology.

My guess is he has used Mane spray on it to make it look fuller but sadly it does give this awful dye effect

as you can see it is better for longer thin hair

Maybe it's a cry for help, or at least for a better wig.

He should contact Paul Daniels as he's probably got one he doesn't use anymore. Failing that why not adopt the Donald Trump or Colin Crompton look? As a very last resort he could always go for the Robert Robinson/Bobby Charlton combover

It does look awful doesn't it. I saw him promoting his latest film the other day, and in the film he looked hot with his balding head. He still has the twinkly eye thing going on. It then cut to the studio and his silly painted on hair - and the desire went. Yuk. Why would he do this to himself ?
