    This year there seems to be a lot more pigeons than in previous years. A cull is needed soon.

    The pooping pidgins ,plod round my pond ,pooping everywhere.

    It now looks like Colditz .. I have cordoned off the area , laid traps , hung mirrors , dug a mine shaft , put anti-tank stuff on the edges , employed the local militia ,sound a siren and still they poop..

    They are now dive bombing it.

    They are not ducks , nor herons , or seagulls, or even Pterodactyls... Look those bu***** up.

    No they are pooping pidgins...No messing , actually thats what they are doing...

    Pigeons;
    The call is a continuous, bubbling moan
    Feral Pigeons have become a nuisance in many towns and cities.
    http://www.garden-birds.co.uk/birds/feral_pigeon.htm
    Feral pigeons carry diseases that are harmful to man, significantly more than the brown rat and yet people would not normally dream of feeding rats! The best known disease passed from birds to man is Psittacosis but over 40 more diseases can be passed from feral pigeon to humans, including potentially infectious diseases such as salmonella, tuberculosis and ornithosis.
    http://www.northampton.gov.uk/site/scripts/documents_info.php?documentID=249&pageNumber=6

    Pigeons are also randy birds who breed whenever the opportunity presents itself.

    It really annoys me that they move out of the way of your vehicle at the last minute, so you inevitably have to brake. They're so slow.:mad:

    It's the only problem where shotguns are a legitimate solution, especially if they are used before things get out of control because they do breed like mad and once they've spread their seed they're everywhere.
