I see it's been confirmed that Geri Halliwell will be replacing her Spice Girls bandmate Mel B as the final judge on Australia's Got Talent.
What do you think of this news, and what do you think of the panel as a whole?

Where as on her X-Factor stints it was just the one appearances.
Surprised the media haven't mentioned Pop stars the rivals.
I understand All American Girl being forgotten but Pop stars created Girls Aloud!
She was in the running to be a judge. She wanted to do it but couldn't due to contract issues etc. You should be able to read about it its in the press.
She was announced as a judge for the next series but she had to pull out over a legal dispute over her contract with another broadcaster (the one that shows The X Factor where she was a judge) which stated she can't join another broadcaster for a specified time.
Channel 9 announced her and Dawn French as the judges, but due to contractual disputes, Mel B was unable to take up a position on the panel.
The networks in AGT are very, very possessive with their talent.
