    Aye, he's such a charismatic character and the Beeb's coverage is definitely lacking the honesty of his presenting. But, grief is something that can't be hurried so if we lose him for this championships then sobeit.

    Watching Eaton charge down the straight, it occurred to me that I know virtually nothing about the Decathlon or any of its competitors..

    We need some more British hard cases in this event to get some coverage.

    Over on Eurosport, the sports channel that actually shows sports, Britney Reese is in real danger of going out of the long jump, she is 12th after three jumps.

    We had Dean Macey, but whenever a butterfly farted within 10 miles of him, he got injured.

    There was also some other chap due to compete here, but after his little BBC video intro, they cut to the start line and his blocks were empty. :D

    The Blue Track, is that an IAAF thing (Berlin had one as did Daegu)?

    Will the Olympic Satdium go Blue in 2017?
