  i think they are locked to tesco as my niece is on tesco and cant use a o2 sim in it but my sisters phone is a o2 phone and you can use both

  As discussed before, Tesco phones are locked at will not accept another network's SIM card.
  
  O2 phones accept Tesco SIM cards because O2 is the parent network and Tesco runs off O2.
