  I would say they seem to be getting hotter every year. It was 29 degrees today on the way home from the beach. Far too warm for me.

  The nice thing I remember, NE coast up by Aberdeen, was it never seemed to get really dark. We played out very late.
  
  Of course the midges are nasty in places.
  
  And we even had snow one 1st June (mid 70s)
  I remember that because my dad had arranged a barbecue for lots of friends and work colleagues.
  
  50 of us ended up crammed in our Barratts starter home.

  Troon, I should add it was the car thermometer so I imagine that it would have increased it a bit.

  What's the temperature in Edinburgh at the moment? I'm going there for a month next week so I hope it's hot as hot as it is in Wales or Birmingham.
  
  The last time I went was in 2005 or 6 during the summer and it was always cold and foggy.

  Right now in Edinburgh its around 15 degrees.
