Guilty as charged. He has had the opportunity to play for Surrey in none 20/20 games. Perhaps he should have taken it.

I agree to a point , hes only got himself to blame for not playing more regular cricket , but at same time when you have had a recent history of injuries and your main motivation for playing first class cricket taken away from you then the money being offered for going on holiday to places like st lucia for a few weeks and playing the odd game of t20 would be hard to refuse

but it's him, in that snippet, seeming to complain anout the system. When in the end he could have played games all along. It was his choice not too.

same old KP, always someone else's fault.

Lyth's bowling another string to his bow perhaps?

Even though, not sure about the action, hope he keeps to being a great Batsman/fielder.

not really , if he cant get into the team on his batting alone , bowling the odd over of below average spin isn't going to help

he was one of the big hopes a couple of years ago but has had a couple of fairly average seasons so lets hope this is the sort of form with the bat he is going to produce going forward

Well, if we keep on persisting with four seamers, then little bits of spin don't hurt.

Yet as I edited, not his most important attribute.

yeah I just meant it should not really be a factor in whether he gets into the team or not , calling him a part-time bowler is being quite generous tbh

if Williamson wasn't currently banned from bowling then he probably wouldn't be bowling at all

Yes we really should base the whole season around players who can't be bothered to play in the Championship.

Somerset win by 5 wickets against Durham.

Hildreth 146 not out and Gregory 105 not out.

Quite some innings by Lewis, he's been long hyped by Somerset, but this year he's really bringing it.

Hildreth has long been a very decent one-day player, scores steadily at about 90 whilst others hit it all around.

David Willey and Alex Hales for other Counties also making a case for one-day inclusion.

Not surprising sadly. Durham's lack of depth in bowling has let them down time and time again this season. Injuries never helped.

Somerset tie with Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

    Compton 68, Trescothick 61 and Ingram 50.

Trescothick also passed 12000 List A runs.

Jason roy taking the worcs bowling apart here , 52 from 20 deliveries

looks like being a bit of a walkover for surrey 64-1 after 5 overs only chasing 142 to win

Chasing Worcester's 141, they are currently 67/2 in the 6th over

Jason Roy made 52 off 23

Lancs have struggled along to 137/8 in their 20 overs with only Khawaga making a sizable contribution of 67

We'll have to bowl well to go through

    110-5 now.

    They should still do it.
