Must be a first!

Tonight there was absolutely nothing we wanted to watch on BBC1. I looked at the Radio Times in the hope that something might appeal but no!

ITV was just as bad!

What is it with the Saturday scheduling? Do the PTB think we all go out on a Saturday so decide to put on rubbish?

We finished up watching ITV3 an ancient Poirot episode and then Hostages on Channel 4.

The Bridge 2 is ok even with subtitles, but you are correct, absolutely dire programmes on the main channels.

I suggest you catch up with Father Brown which is shown on BBC1 on weekday afternoons. Nice little drama.

I'm watching Hostages right now (I recorded it while I watched something else). I watched that and Casualty but not alot else, other than a DVD rental I'd got anyway. The TV has been rather disappointing on Saturday evenings for the last month or two at least.

Are they still printing that along with the TV Times?

Wow, haven't bought either of those since just before Christmas in the eighties......

It was the launch of the latest series of one of BBC1's major shows The Voice tonight, so those who said there was nothing on, must presumably be in a minority.

I never watch anything at the weekends now, apart from Final Score, and MOTD, been watching the Darts as well at the minute, and will no doubt be watching the Snooker, weekend Tv has been dire for years now.

I don't watch football or much other sport. The Voice looks awful - too manic, which seems the same for Reflex. We don't like magicians so that rules out Dynamo.

Casualty is well past its sell=by date!

The Radio Times is the leading listings magazine and there are lots of interesting articles in it.
