Anyone else really like this film? Great mood and atmosphere. The scene with Jake Gyllenhaal in the basement near the end is incredibly creepy and well done.

    Yeah, this is a good film, one that I have on DVD. It grows more on me with each watch. A film about the hunt for a serial killer and the obsession of a man trying to solve the problem at the expense of himself, even after the case has seemingly died down. BTW, that second killing is quite disturbing and makes me wince each time I see it. Good acting, story, cinematography and direction keeps this film, which some might consider too slow, intense and interesting, at least for me.

    hated it when I first saw it, especially since everyone seemed to mumble their lines but I appreciated it a little a more after a few viewings (and with the help of subtitles ;)).

    Brilliant and it has such a creepy mood to it.

    Fincher is a genius.
