The Channel "Yesterday" btw

I've been recording every episode and rewatching each day. A wonderful sitcom that Stephanie Cole stole every scene she was in.

I can't believe she was only 49 years old when it started aswell.

I've watched a few. I always used to like it but watching it now I don't know why I liked it quite so much; though I am enjoying it, but just as warm cosy TV. I didn't know how old SC was at the time but I remember in later years always thinking she never aged much and thinking she must be ancient :D

I am. I really like it. It's a shame there were so few episodes.

Five series and 47 episodes were made which really isn't that bad. Too long and it runs out of steam.

Loved this series and always enjoy them when appear again. I have always enjoyed the characters she has played and there are even subtle nods to this series on occasions in Coronation Street with references to nursing homes now and then.

I'd thought there were only two series. Five, yes, that's fine. Thank you.

Waiting for God is a very funny comedy series and I don't think it gets the appreciation it should.

Stephanie Cole and Graham Crowden play opposite each other very well, and rest of the cast are great too.

    I loved it :).

I've caught a few episodes on Yesterday. I'd like to think I'd be a little like SC's character when I'm old.

There's some of us that still remember her as 'Beatrice' in Tenko & 'Mrs Featherstone' in Open All Hours.

Am I the only one who finds a resemblance between Graham Cole and Greg Davies?
