Are you going to wave us off the runway, when you find a way to stuff up qualifying for the play-offs against the mighty Lithuania... :p

If anyone has Netflix, then I cannot highly recommend a show enough...

Its a Danish drama called "Rita" about a dysfunctional school teacher who tends to be more crazy than the kids, it is super funny laugh out loud stuff, but with series undertones also at times.

I don't want to say too much to give it away!
All three seasons are on Netflix, I'm halfway through the 3rd one now.

I didn't know Danes could be so funny!

Yes I have Netflix, by which I mean my friend has it but I just use his account for free. :D

I shall give that a go, cheers for the recommendation. Whilst we're on the subject I've recently finished watching 'Sense8', brilliant sci-fi thriller from the directors of The Matrix trilogy, it's largely set in Iceland. :)

How creepy I just binged watch Rita and Hjordis on Sunday and Monday. Bloody loved it!

I couldn't recommend Rita even more. I love Danish/Swedish drama and thought nothing could top Borgen for me but Rita comes on par and even close.

Only critique is that the best series is Series 1. But 2 and 3 are equally as good!

This whole Cecil the Lion thing is totally appalling. Now I'm against violence in all its forms but I wouldn't lose too much sleep if someone decided to take the law into their own hands against the pathetic scum who did this. People like him make me ashamed to be human.

Whilst I agree it's totally wrong i do have a bit of sympathy with the guy. It happens day in day out and he seems to be the fall guy

Definitely wasn't expecting that, 72 seems far too early to die these days.

An entertainment icon, enjoyed her shows back in her heyday, but I'll let the showbiz threads speak for themselves as to the rest of her character...

Natural causes at 72 is still a shock though, just shows what we've come to expect from modern longevity.

Poor Cilla. At least it was peaceful for her. A true national treasure. :)

Sky Store - Buy & Keep - Rio (the first movie) - currently free!

I think it must be a mistake, but they have to honour it, so go get it geeky, your kids will love it :)

Genuinely shocked that Blackpool is in the top 10??

Just don't do the where in Britain would you be happiest test. I'm mildly offended it classed me as 'high' on the neurotic scale. :o:D

Apparently I would be happiest in my old home town, but with only 38% life satisfaction so I don't see how that works. I go back there often enough to know the grass is definitely greener here.

What a race! :D So relieved, that would have put a downer on the whole championships if Twatlin had won.

Oh and so happy for Jess as well :)

    Amazing from Bolt! Just brilliant!

Now to bring Gatlin down in the 200!

Fantastic from Jess too, heartbreaking for KJT, just wanted to give her a big hug like lovely Phil did.

Excellent from Mo last night too!

Top of the medals table! :D
