A lot of people think the recovery album was a hit back at corporatism and commerical influences in the music industry. 'Not afraid' definetly hinted at that. So I really don't think Eminem would stoop so low to perform on the X factor.
Also when he was on Wossy months ago.. he said he only tours when his kids are off school as he likes to take them to school every day. I don't see this happening.
Someone like Professor Green, Plan B or Lady Sovereign (is she still around) would be better.

Recovery is one of the biggest selling albums of the year, selling over three millions units to date since it's release. It might be crap to you but a lot of people would disagree.
I can't see it myself but if Simon was to get Eminem to duet with Cher that would be a major coup. Is the X-Factor stage big enough for two egos like that?
I reckon it will be either Tiao Cruz or Jay Sean - both have had international success across the pond and have songs that would suit Cher's style.
