not necessarily could make it worse, it would depend on what kind of agression he is showing and why?

How old is the dog? What socialisation has he recieved? What training has he had? Exercise and example of situations where he has become agressive, could be something stemming from you rather than the other dog?

Agression is not an easy subject in the end you will need to get a proper behaviourist in to take a look at such behaviour, i say behaviourist rather than trainer because it is more appropriate for this kind of situation

Why would getting him neutered make him worse?!

OP, unless you're planning to breed neutering is always a good idea and can resolve or in the very least help towards reducing aggression in male dogs. How old is your dog?

I've always had my dogs neutered at 6 months old. I never wanted to breed from them and it made them easier to handle.

It may not make him worse, but if his aggression is motivated by fear, rather than hormones it will not stop the OP's problem.
I would seek advice on a dog/pet specific forum, or consult a behaviourist who can advise some training techniques, such as the 'Look At This' game.
Neutering in male dogs is not a black and white decision, IMO. OP, have a good read around about neutering. It may reduce certain cancers, it may improve certain behaviours, but it can also have no effect on some behaviours and is thought to increase risks of other diseases, as well as having detrimental effects on growth and development of dogs under a certain age, so do some research and make an informed decision. Good luck xox

may make him worse depends on why he is displaying agression, fear agression, handler agression etc will not be helped by neutering, some times reducing a dogs hormones can make him more agressive to other dogs every case is different, the research is all out there to look at

Agree with the above for me in female dogs the pros outweigh the cons of neutering in males i dont think its' as cut and dried again the op should read up on the subject. I have large breeds so do not even think of neutering until approx 3 years
