Problems with Zen Sleek

I was given a zen sleek by my wife last Christmas. The first one I got was very reliable until I upgraded the firmware to Plays for sure. Then the player would intermittently stop responding to all buttons except the volume button. I could not even switch it off!
I then performed a reset and it would be ok for a while and then do it again. After a reset it rebuilds the library which takes about 6-10mins and my journeys are almost over :mad:
I complained to Creative who were very good to respond within a couple of days after the obligatory autoreply. They decided after loads of emails it should be replaced.
I now have another one and they assured me that this one would be fine with the Plays for sure firmware. I reflashed it with the update and low and behold the old problem is back to haunt me.
Is anyone else having this problem?
What can I do now?
