I have been with Books Direct thirty years
They used to be called World Books
They used to advertise often in magazines
I buy more from Amazon these days

    I think I'm in books direct still, altough I haven't received a magazine for ages.

    Maybe because I haven't ordered anything in ages.

    I think I also annoyed them by complaining about getting the editors choice sent to me every month because I could never be bothered to send the form back saying I didn't want it. Yes I know I had no right to complain, but they still never sent me another editors choice automatically!

    We used to have a Worldbooks account when I was a kid, used to get a lot of educational books through them. We eventually gave up on them though. Whenever we tried to cancel our account they used to keep sending us catalogues to make us renew our subscription :mad: They used to have a shop in Bromley IIRC. Haven't heard of the Book People for ages though.
