Some GAME guy has said that pre-orders for the PS4 at GAME are four times those that they saw for the PS3.
GAME boss Martyn Gibbs added that PS4 pre-orders at the chain were already "around four times higher than the PS3".

Meanwhile independent retailers are seeing ratios of 5-to-1 in favour of the PS4 over Xbox One.
McCabe says Sony’s hands-on approach has led his PS4 orders to top demand for Xbox One five to one.

PS3 sold 165,000 in the UK on it's opening weekend

So potentially 660,000 PS4s could be shifted this weekend.

That's not even possible....... is it???

No because the cut-off was in August and I'm sure lots have been pre-ordered since then!

If Sony did manage to somehow fulfil plenty of post-August orders then that'd be bananas.

Pre-orders for consoles don't mean those consoles will be sold this weekend.

likely to be 300,000 PS4s for 300,000 pre-orders. The rest will need to wait of for the next wave of stock to land in Blighty.
