A lot of people feel single and maudlin around Valentine's. I remember Kelis's 'I hate you so much' song doing well because of all the angry Valentines lol.
There really no point in wondering if they'll do anything except SLS at the Brits. The whole event is the labels showing off and rewarding their acts so there's no need for artists to perform established hits. Lots of acts have debuted or launched songs there. The only possibility is they get involved in a Bowie medley instead but I think Sony will have thrown their weight (and money) behind LM having their own spot.

I'm looking at the other performers that night. Jess G hasnt distinguished herself on tv recently has she? I've read that the Weekend has only given a few performances.

There seems to be terms for how much streaming contributes, I believe it's the same no matter on what platform, some I think Apple Music is the same as Spotify. I could be wrong, but that is how I understood the system.

Oh I see what you mean, apologies I thought you were asking if the individual streams carried the same weight. I can't find much information regarding the number of subscribers either, from a quick look Apple Music was expected to have a big impact on the streaming side, but whether that became reality seems unclear.
