Looks like the recent across the board speed increases has come with a cost.
Just had my letter through saying my bill will increase by £1.50 on October 1st. >:(
I have until the end of September to cancel or take the hit.
Anyone else had theirs?

Only had a letter about sky sports nothing about broadband
Last September I phoned them up for a deal (I only get BB from them) since then the price went up in the October, again in February and now again in October. The deal I got has been more than wiped out.
Same here. Got a loyalty discount which is due to run out soon so think I may have to go with a cheaper option elsewhere.
Up to 50Mb will be £28pm
Up to 100Mb will be £33pm
Up to 152Mb will be £40.50pm
No it isnt. I joined waaay before May 2014 as stated above.
Have just saw a press release on this via ispreview it looks like they are only rising the price for those who joined or re-contracted before 29th May 2014 anyone who joined or reconnected after this will not have a price increase

I've been doing the loyalty dance with them for years. Currently paying just £23 a month for 100Mb (before the new increase).
As I have no need for a landline (voip all the way), I still consider what I pay pretty good value. Especially when I think back to what I used to pay when I first got broadband back in 2000/2001-ish - £30 for just 512Kb.
Time to leave next month as soon as my contract is up.
They should use that in their advertisments. "We're not as awful as America"
I'm certainly not grateful to a company who clearly has contempt for us.

Wish I knew what is the best and cheapest for me, Im just rubbish at that type of thing though.
Would I be better off going to BT? I never seem to have any problems, but is that the line or Virgin?

It's always worth getting on to them whenever a price increase is threatened.
I had a price increase, what seems like only 6 months ago, when my broadband went up for "free" to 152mb, so I dropped to 50mb, to save money now I got another price increase by £1.50
I haven't even had a wage increase of 1% in this 12 month period, let alone 15%.
I joined Telewest in 2004 and my broadbands has gone up too.
