    it's oh so quiet - bjork
    earth song - michael jackson

    ah xmas '95

    my brother then gifted me some old cds from his collection...jazzy jeff and enigma lol

    My first CDs were both by Kylie.

    ALBUM: Enjoy Yourself
    SINGLE: Never Too Late

    Before then it was all vinyl LPs and 12 inch singles for me.

    The album Joyride by Roxette in 1990/1 was my first CD.

    But I was buying vinyl for many years before that.

    What I did notice was that the CD packaging was much more robust in those early years.

    I don't dislike any Kylie albums, but Enjoy Yourself is probably my least favourite. And Never Too Late is probably my least favourite Kylie single.

    The first album that I ever got with my own money was Shania Twain's Come On Over on the day after my 16th birthday in 1998. :):):)

    A lot of vinyl stuff in the 70s and 80s but first CD album was "Every Breath You Take" - The Police singles compilation. Came out in about 1986 when CDs were brand new things.
