I like it also in a weird way, even though it can be gruesome and upsetting to watch at times.

I know for sure I will never ever have any work done on me now after watching some of the tales we see on shows like this!

Watching it right now. Referring to the weight loss skin recon. story, I notice the husband said "I loved her" and not "I love her":o:confused:

I didn't notice that, but I did think that when he was saying that he doesn't care that it didn't seem very sincere.

I agree. The last series wasn't like this, I don't recall? I'm pretty positive that last series the stories always had a happy ending (in terms of end result).

She is actually so brave. Her reply when she found out she'd lose both her arms and legs was frankly, inspirational!

By the way, NHS only fund reconstruction if the weight loss is natural via diet. The lady said that she did all the hard work.. Maybe, but Gastric band is not the toughest option. If she did it herself by self control, she would have received all the recon under NHS (sometimes geographical location depends of decision)
yeah, i noticed that & thought 'what hard work?' o.O i cant help but think it should still be funded though, it must be soul destroying to look like that & probably leads to psychological issues which will end up costing the NHS anyway. i appreciate there arent unlimited resources though & if there has to be a cut-off, then its fair for the people who actually had enough motivation to lose the weight themselves to get it funded

Wow. There's no denying she did a stupid thing, but that woman is something else. A far braver, positive woman than I would be. Best of luck to her.

That was a very powerful speech that she gave at the end.

    Very brave woman.

Wonder what happened to that friend of hers.

I agree, and quite a message about whatever you are, that you're enough. I'll remember that whenever I think about having a reduction.

Don't think I've ever seen a good post weight-loss surgery result. There always seems to be excess skin.
