i do love jack but i haven't see much of his movies apart from cuckoo's nest and the shining, but i know he's a sensational actor so which movies would say you recommend and say are his best ones . i am dying to watch a few good men!
Chinatown for me is a masterpiece. Jack is good in it, but the whole package is great really - John Huston, Faye Dunaway, Roman Polanski behind the camera, great period detailing and soundtrack, deliberate pacing .... Superb film.
I also love The Pledge, which I believe was directed by Sean Penn. Nicholson is great here and his performace will stay with for a while after you watch the film.
He is also good value in stuff like The Departed. Apprently he improvised a lot of his lines and mannerisms to give his character a wild, unpredictable edge. You can see this in some of the scenes he shared with Leo DiCaprio.
Some mentioned before, but my personal favourites would be:
'As Good As It Gets'
'The Departed'
'About Schmidt'
'The Postman Always Rings Twice'
'Easy Rider'
'Witches of Eastwick'
'A Few Good Men'
'Something's Gotta Give'
Comments
Cher, Michelle phiffer and Suzanna Sharandon?
Yes, The Witches of Eastwick would be my choice too.

Carnal Knowledge .
Carnal Knowledge has an amazing bit where he just rants solidly for about 5 minutes , he literally looks lke he'll explode . fantastic .
