Address for HMRC, National Insurance enquiries.
My son turned 16 a couple of months ago and we've only just realised he never received his NI number.
Tried ringing the number but can never get through when my son gets in from school, and apparently they won't give numbers out over the phone anyway. He wants to write to explain and ask for it through the post, but we've searched and can't find an address.
Any ideas?

(PS do not use the .co.uk sites as they are private companies and charge)
can he not phone when he's at school? it's a free phone number.
He's been ringing that number and can't get through, he gets in about 4.30 and the lines only open till 5. The form isn't relevant to 16 year olds, only if you've had one and lost it.
School doesn't allow phones at all.
Just thought there's be a postal address somewhere, there must be. If not he'll have to wait until Easter holidays.
I don't know how closely you looked at the link I gave but in a couple of clicks it tells you how to email them which I would have thought was satisfactory if you want to "write" to them

In the section E-Mail at the bottom of that page it looks like all you can do is register a change of address, for which you need a NI number!
No postal address shown.
I know, thanks. He'll have to do it at Easter.
Can't believe writing to these people is no longer an option, ridiculous.
