Sixth form was the final two years of high school year 12 and 13 in my day
Same building, same teachers, same everything.
You had the option of attending a different college to do your A-levels.
Yes, mine too.
So what are people calling 'high school' exactly? Sixth form or college? Both?
We just called them sixth form or college, I heard people start calling it high school after all the high school musical thing. It's definitely a mostly recent term for it.
Not that common though is it? Most people go to school until they are 16, then move on to college or sixth form.
I noticed some people call sixth form, high school, but when I think high school, I think American high school, which I think starts at 14? Never heard anyone call it high school from where I'm from.
Not really some schools over here are 'high schools' in the sense they start at 14 and finish at 18...basically merging GCSEs and sixth form into one school.
Evening all, am late tonight as I was out and we have just finished fish and chips for supper Is it me or is Will being especially boring tonight..he seems rather quiet, well apart form when Bizzie had finished

Yes, mine too.
