Very tough question. From a particular pro or from every season would be more fair ...
The Jive is my favorite Latin dance . I never get tired of watching this dance. This jive is the best jive I have ever seen from a pro-celeb couple IMO and it was only week 2 :cool: . Skip at 2:00 . Love, Love, Love it . Never get tired of watching it:cool:
Loving this thread although sadly its a reminder of how many great professionals we have lost now. Even so its a lovely way to start getting ready for the next show to start.
This is my favourite of all time too...but I also really liked Rachel and Vincent's tango (can't find a link on youtube of the original)
I think Rachel was the celeb who got to the highest level without having much of a dance background.
Rachel and Vincent's Tango which she had to learn during a 2 new dances week.

I always tend to think of Alesha and Kara when talking of the best female celebs on SCD but then I am reminded of just how amazing Rachel could be too when I see these dances.
Oh dang it I was going to post Scott's Tango. One of Strictly's hidden gems. Natalie IMHO is one of the best female pro dancers Strictly has ever had
Back to that Tango
1 It was underscored
2 Natalie's dress was stunning
3 The music was intense one of my favourites
4 The choreo was BRILLIANT
5 Oh did I tell you it was underscored:D
Kartem's rumba is in my top 10 of favorite dances. It's the best rumba I have ever seen from a celeb and a pro :)[/QUOT
Sensational truly the best.... Will miss Artem so much this year
It would be obvious to go for that AT or that Charleston (both featured already in this thread), so I will do something else and pick 3 dances which I have not seen yet in this thread:
This one is one of my favourites too. I've seen it several times live at events and it's more emotional live than you could possibly think.
Once in particular they danced it at an event in the summer after their break up (and it was just after they had definitely decided to stay dancing together (after several months of going through the motions at events)) and during the dance both were emotional and afterwards you could see the tears falling for both of them (and the majority of the audience). You could tell at the time just how special their dancing relationship was for them to be able to bridge the gap of their personal relationship being no more.

They are very special as a dance partnership - in a 'it was meant to be' kind of way. They can really move an audience because they share the same love for what they do.
I'm very glad - for them especially - that they have been able to continue what is a wonderful artistic partnership.

Their finale jive was even more incredible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-vyh6c3PUI but their first jive (week 2 ) will always be my favorite dance.
From a pro couple it has to be the amazing & incredibly talented : Flavia and Vincent .

I always return to this one. Hard to believe they were breaking up at the time - so much emotion. I remember Arlene being choked up afterwards.

I can watch it again and again and again!
That's not quite as bad as I remember!
Michael & Natalie's Quickstep was genuinely brilliant, though. Such a surprise after three such poor weeks.
Yes the situation made it all the more compelling.
It seemed to lift Vincent's spirits, as after the dance I remember him jumping in the air and clicking his heel as he left the floor.
This is my favourite of all time too...but I also really liked Rachel and Vincent's tango (can't find a link on youtube of the original)
That is definitely one of my favourites too.

Scott's Tango : http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PhBpccRUZig
It was this Argentine Tango where he does the heel click as he leaves the floor Fatskia

So good to see these dances again but it does remind me how much I miss them from the show

I agree they are sorely missed.

(there has not been a dancer as sensual and energetic before or since)

(could also have picked the jive or paso; with a theme that Anton went out for last year)

(leaving the most controversial till last )
My actual favourite would probably be Rachel's tango, but that is blocked for me (for my country or for everyone outside of Britain)
