Some people think one is up and the other down and some believe both exist right here on earth during our lives.
They exist in the same astral plane as such locations as Cloudcuckooland, Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, and the Green Hill Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog,
In all seriousness, scientists are so far uncertain about the nature of reality and postulate the existence of parallel universes as part of the solution. The idea of other realms of reality isn't terribly far fetched.
What is the actual point of these threads? No proper discussion will take place. It will be 5 pages of joke comments and bashing religion (which I am all for don't get me wrong).

I think of Hell as being a crowded Tube train stuck in a tunnel, you are desperate for the toilet and surrounded by drunk football hooligans.
I can't imagine a heaven which wouldn't get boring after a few days.

Nice one ,but them places do not appear to be big enough to cope with all the numbers that are supposed to be going there
