It was a birthday party and Joan was invited...
She goes everywhere with her and is apparently moving to the States when Cheryl goes there. She is apparently at the X-Factor every single week and let's not forget that she lived with Ashley and Cheryl. I just think it's unnatural for a Mother and adult Daughter to be so close - it just doesn't sit right - Cheryl is a grown woman with a life of her own; does her Mother have no life?
Maybe Joan is employed by Cheryl...who knows.
She's not at X Factor every week...most of the time its Nicola or Kimberley (or both).
I agree with you. It's nice to get on with your mother but the way they are is unnatural. I think the problem is that Joan really doesn't have a life of her own. She seems to cling to Cheryl as much as Cheryl clings to her. Maybe if she remembered she had other children thoughout her life they wouldn't have the problems they have now.
Cheryl needs to grow up. She was supposed to be married, and still had her mum at her side. Poor Ashley is all I can say.

& Kieran - to be honest, how do either of us know if Joan is or isn't at the X-Factor every week? I've read that she is - but that could be twaddle admittedly. However, every social pic of Cole I see her Mother is there. It's quite sad IMHO.
Oh I don't know for sure...but there are always pap shots of Cheryl arriving and leaving the XFactor studios from Friday, Saturday and Sunday (walking out of her car and stuff) and I have never seen Joan in any of then....but her dogs are always there!
I agree with you. I actually feel a little sorry for Ashley. it's no excuse for cheating but having your MIL with you constantly cant be much fun. And neither woman seems to be easy to live with.
Cheryl's sibling seems to be in no end of trouble perhaps her support is directed at the wrong child. But then there's no fancy house or red carpets if you are helping your son through addiction and criminal behaviour.

It seems lately Nicola, Sarah and Kim are more famous for being Cheryl's mate. If Cherly is a US Success, there will be no GA reunion - it would make no success, and with the news that Nadine isn't going to get a second single, i wonder if we will see Nic, Kim, Nads and Sarah get back together
As for Joan, maybe shes lonely? Tbh its off putting when
parents refuse to cut the strings. Still if it works for them. I'm not going to comment on the marriage as it is mean and aside from the k&t allegations we know nothing.
I have to say I feel a tad sorry for nad when things like this happens because she gets the blame for holding back the reunion
Fair enough. She never in the 100's of pap pictures they take every day she's there so that's why I assumed she isn't.
