I'm astounded no one has come on to comment about this programme on last night on BBC one.
What an amazing programme it was taking us on a journey across the commonwealth looking at the way the inhabitants live and their sometime beautiful surroundings.
Anyone who missed it, try and watch on i player, it's really good.
I was on the edge of my seat when the presenters sometimes went on really scary travels. Very good television.
This for me, is one programme I don't mind paying my licence fee for.

This was a lot better than the silly concert the other night.

Sorry I found it was just free jaunts for the presenters and was more about how they felt and what they did rather than giving us insights and histories into the sights themselves.
Only Clare Balding lifted it with her report from Fingal's Cave.

    Standard DS reply.

It was not meant to be an in depth documentary type program, the spectacular scenery was the real star of the show. A real lift on what this Earth has to offer if you explore outside of your usual paths.
