when he bought the channel, he used the current logo with "Channel" written above the 5, on things like newspaper ads (Top 5 on 5), and now he is using his new Offical "Channel 5" logo, but that change has yet to be repersented on screen, other than annoucers now callling it "Channel 5" no new idents, or DOG yet.
As discussed above, we also have no clue what he will rebrand FiveUSA & Fiver as.
I'm thinking OK TV is coming in place of FIVER with lots of celebrity orientated programming and possibly FIVE USA will simply become 5 USA or something.
Hi! All
I will just add to the shows which I have liked over the years such as:
1: Eddie Stobart: Trucks and Trailers[Current]
2: Paul Merton in China
3: Paul Merton in India
4: Live from Studio Five
5: 5's Company
I was going to mention this in another post about channels in general to do with programming after the Digital Switchover comes to an end but will discuss about Channel Five here instead, as regards to children's programmes I know ITV finished with CITV on ITV1 a couple of years ago in the afternoons.
But did they make the right decision and what should Channel Five do as I am not sure whether it will go ahead but I know there have been talk of a Milkshake channel, but when the switchover is complete many more kids will be able to watch children's programmes on Freeview on CBBC and CBeebies etc.
So if Channel Five do launch a Milkshake channel then seeing as there will be no need for Milkshake on Channel Five everyday, what should replace it?.
Seeing as ITV1's Daybreak seems to be failing, would another breakfast show on another channel be a big mistake or should Channel Five attempt to have a breakfast programme?.
I look forward to further comments.
Also I liked Live from Studio Five when it launched but since it's new look having got rid of the desk and having the sofa, does it make it feel more like the BBC's The One Show as when I read about its launch in the paper. It did say that it was to be in competition to the BBC's The One Show.

I agree about Five USa, it'll probably be renamed 5USA - still pronounced the same of course. Fiver could always revert to 5Life?
Certainly not when you allow for UK broadcasting laws.
I don't know how these channels survive when you have to type in all your details for the softest porn on the plannet, when you can just type "midget on horses, bi/gay sex porn" into Gooole for free?
I dont know, could a TV channel even hope to compete with the variety of depravity avabile on the web?
I mean name your fetish, and im sure I could find a website for you, that or you could put it in google yourself.
True. Although channels still show the latest US TV despite the fact anyone with the net at home can watch them for free. (albeit illegally)
Softcore stuff still exists on UK channels that charge what? 5, £6 for one night! Despite the fact anyone with the net can watch their particular fetish online.
Films and TV programmes can be picked up very cheaply from companys like Play.com and they're still shown on TV.
There is so much to watch and do on the net it's a wonder TV still exists! But it does!

As for "Breakfast from Studio Five" even with Daybreak down, I dont think people will be turning to Channel 5 for a new Breakfast show.
Digitally-originated graphic. Later dumbed down as "digital onscreen graphic", despite the fact that you know it's onscreen because you can see it.
Channel 5US
Channel 5Live, 5 Life, 5xtra, or Channel 5 More
Not really. It's Digital Overlay Graphic describing the way it is applied to the signal.
5 erotica?
Here's hoping.:D;)
