I think it was an 80's package.
I think these packages featured around 1988-1992 (roughly the time they were switching on their FM transmitters).
1987 Package "Britain's Favourite" (08-09/87)
1990 Package "Music Radio For The 90s" (12/89)
1992 Package "Closer To The Music (11/91)
I've got plenty more if you're interested or want the cuts sent on their own privately.
Much appreciated.....
It would be good to have an archive of all these montages in one place as its often hard to find them.
Fantastic stuff. Thanks I like the 21 of music making across the UK Britains favorite radio 1" I haven't heard that one.
Thanks for these, terrific memories - sound so much better than the sweepers we have to use on a certain commercial radio group!
Do you mean the bed that he did the countdown over, the "John Wells" chart position stings or one of the jingles in between?

Of course it's not a complete collection but hopefully it covers a large area of Radio 1 jingles from 20 years.
Enjoy
Fantastic to hear all those again. The 84 package is missing though.
The bed that he used when introducing songs. Who's John Wells?
Chris Moyles still uses his stuff when he does the Golden Hour on Fridays.
I can hear him now... "Radio One FM... In to the nineties... [presenters name]"

Third one has been removed according to MediaFire, having trouble downloading it.
Unsurprisingly it appears to be the most popular download.
PM me if anyone's having problems downloading.
yes please I would like to have some jingles from this era if possible
For me, it was the 1984 "best sound in Britain" Jam package, which were largely re-sings of the Jam package for KIMN Denver.
Same here, some great jingles in that pack.
