ESPN have a "free weekend" this weekend, from 4th March to 6th March, across various platforms.

Take your seats for a free weekend on ESPN

Does anyone know if it applies to Top Up TV too?

    Nope it does not. At the bottom of the link you provided it says: Free weekend not applicable to Freeview, Top Up TV, BT Vision, Freesat or Freesat from Sky platforms.

    Last time ESPN tried it on DTT TUTV spoiled it with a scrolling banner.

    Never appeared on DTT since for free.

    ...but if they do show it for free then the Manchester City vs. Wigan Athletic match should make at least passable viewing this time unlike the usual botttom of the SPL table St Mirren vs. Hamilton type clash that they've put on before.
