Doubt Corrie would run with this one, especially in current circumstances over one of their actors.

no i don't think this will work with a regular.i think soapland would probably bring in someone new get him or her liked and whatever make them work from home on computer a lot, get into a relationship with someone then that someone could borrow their computer while they was out and then discover the truth and find pictures of the local playground too focusing on one child and they would ring the police quickly before something bad happened and the person would be arrested while at the playground?
Family Affairs did this did something along these lines when Chloe Costello was abused by a family friend who was a kind of a regular character, probably their best storyline imo.

i think Emmerdale could do this well if they anted to.

EasEnders wise , Tony from 08/09 was actually a hebephile as opposed to a paedophile . Nevertheless im glad Whitney got through it as well as that awful Rob Grayson business .

Was there any indication before Tony came out of prison that was a paedophile, such as things Whitney said about him? Although I think most people were aware of the imminent storyline from the tabloids, the first viewers knew of it, I recall, was when he was reunited with Whitney.

If they can have a pedophile from the outset i.e Tony in EE, it shouldn't be a problem pre-watershed for a well known character to be one.

I wish they went down that route because it's so boring currently, Corrie should grow some balls and develop that to happen.
