Who won? I refuse to watch anything with Claire on it.

You'll be thrilled to hear she's won. :D

Blimey, I just woke up after an afternoon doze stick on the TV to see if the baftas have started yet

    ...and saw Widdecombe budgie shuffling...

I am not an expert, but wouldn't be surprised if the budgies had been subject to some good old animal cruelty at some time to do that.

some of the people in the audience are obvious plants though (and not just the celebrities)

I did get that feeling, although I know one of the featured speakers who wasn't planted.

    why?

    she was quite good

Because I don't have any respect for her. All she does is reality TV. She never does any proper work, unlike the rest of Steps.

Won't be watching the final then.

At least it's not all he does. Although he is the one who does least out of the other 4.

    interesting, thanks for the info.

I quite hope this gets a 2nd series. I just don't like the forced audience input.
It comes across as so fake.

    .

That's a bit harsh. Don't forget she has also put a lot of weight on, lost a lot of weight, put a lot of weight on, and then.................oh you get the general idea. ;-)

They needed something to replace DOI. Have you seen any ratings BP?

ITV Commissioners: We need a new format. Something that's cutting edge, itchy and able to replace Dancing on Ice to decent numbers.

ITV development team: Ok, get this. This is sick. Celebs, right...get this, learn a new skill and then perform in front of an audience!

ITV Commissioner: That's amazing and completely original. Commissioned! Now let's just sit back and watch those audience numbers hit an all time high!

This show honestly feels like this was devised by those guys in the Pounds to Pocket advert.

    Last Sunday's ratings !

Over on ITV, Stephen Mulhern's Get Your Act Together aired to 1.73m (7.4%) at 7pm (107k/0.4% on +1).

    Lower than I thought.

Even by the standards of Stephen Mulherne fronted ITV shows, this is so painfully awful that it's almost hypnotic. I would like an entire show about the poor people in the audience chosen to act out the terrible bits of script in an attempt to convince the audience they're watching something good. It would be fascinating to follow them as they go about their lives, knowing that they allowed themselves to be filmed announcing that your man out of This Morning looked like a professional dancer.

And the week before it was 1.99 million after starting at 2.7 million: lost 1 million viewers then in 4 weeks :o

I'm not sure if I can last for the rest of the show.

If you had to watch one: this or Stars in Your Eyes, which would you choose?
