I would be good at researching entertainment
I have many books on the subject
I have followed entertainment for over thirty years
I have followed what Disney make since I was young
I used to watch Clapperboard with Chris Kelly
I used to read Look-in magazine and the annuals
I like animation, comedy, musicals and British films

Good luck to us both.
In what way do you want to contrubute ?
Do ya wanna write one or assist someone else to by being their researcher / advisor or Ghost Writer ?
Soz , but your OP doesnt really make that very clear ....... Well not to me anyway
I don't know why but that really made me laugh
Why don't you begin by getting in touch with your local newspaper or magazines? Very often they'll accept topical articles if they're good.
I`m sorry , but I really wouldnt know where to begin giving advice on this matter , but may i suggest you post this over on the Book Forum ....... Maybe someone there could help you .
Good luck anyway
But Windy, if you're not, how about Mooby's idea of contributing articles to your local paper to start with?
No you don't.
For academic books you need to be a bright student who needs some money and is desperate to gain favour with a professor by doing research for them.
By the time you have a PhD you should be writing your own books not simply research for other people.
