    • Eureka

Not currently airing, but if you haven't watched already

    Seems obvious but...Lost? Best show.

Also, anyone who likes Dexter will love Breaking Bad. It's even better.

This Summer I can't agree! I think this is the best Sumemr TV-wise in ages, mostly due to the cable nets deciding in recent years to air their heavyweights during the Summer season. This Summer my list is longer than it was during the regular season, and admiteddly I already watched too much TV during the regular season lol.

My current "Summer TV list" includes:

    Burn Notice
    White Collar
    Leverage
    Covert Affiars (Premiere season)
    The Glades (Premiere Season)
    Rookie Blue (Premiere Season)
    Memphis Beat (Premiere Season)
    Rizzoli and Isles (Premiere Season)
    The Good Guys (Premiere Season)
    Scoundrels (Premiere Season)
    Royal pains
    Drop Dead Diva
    True Blood
    The Gates (Premiere Season)
    Warehouse 13
    Eureka
    Haven (Premiere Season)
    Flashpoint
    Persons Unknown (Limited Run series)

    Coming in Late July
    Sherlock (BBC)
    The Pillars of the Earth

    And in August
    Rubicon

Yeah personal taste has a lot to do with it I guess...

Burn Notice - watched a few back when FX first aired it, can't remember why I gave up

White Collar - not bad but didn't really draw me back, hence why I had it as my "also ran" as it were.

Never got past the trailers for:
    Leverage
    Covert Affairs
    The Glades
    Rookie Blue
    Memphis Beat
    Rizzoli and Isles
    Royal pains
    Haven
    The Gates

True Blood - gave up after the first episode

Warehouse 13 - gave up after two episodes

Flashpoint - gave up after about five episodes

Persons Unknown - gave up after three, four episodes (the one where you know who was revealed to be a you know what)

not even looked at the trailers :-)
    Drop Dead Diva
    The Good Guys
    Scoundrels

If you've not already watched it then Lost is fantastic. You might like Being Erica but I think thats more of a watch alone thing. It is about a woman who always messes things up ending up in therepy and being sent back into the past to relive her biggest regrets to do what she thinks she should have done to see how her life would turn out had she done that.

Human Target is good once you get into it (also been renewed for a second season).
Everything else has already been suggested.

I'd also avoid Persons Unknown, I stopped watched after fourth episode, became stupid.

Suggestions based on the shows you listed, rather than just the best shows around:

Before True Blood Alan Ball made Six Feet Under, which is definitely one to watch. I've only seen the first season so far, but it's very good. Stars Michael C. Hall, AKA Dexter.

On the topic of vampires, Ultraviolet was a great show. It was a Channel 4 production from the late 90s, about a secret government organisation focusing on the rise in vampire activity. If you like Fringe and Torchwood, you should enjoy it. Also stars Jack Davenport from Flashforward.

Alias is somewhere between 24 and Chuck, I guess. I can't say much more because I haven't actually seen it. It's on my "to-watch" list.

Since you liked Pushing Daisies I'd definitely recommend Bryan Fuller's other shows. Dead Like Me is about a young girl who dies and becomes a "reaper", collecting souls from people about to die. The premise of Pushing Daisies was actually going to be a storyline on Dead Like Me. It lasted 2 seasons and is available on DVD.
Wonderfalls is the best of the three in my opinion, which is probably why it got cancelled after 4 episodes aired. The first (and only) season is available on Region 1 DVD. Lee Pace (Ned from Pushing Daisies) plays the brother of the lead character.

I haven't seen it, but Eureka has a similar appeal to Warehouse 13.

Hung is similar in premise and tone to Weeds. Instead of a woman who turns to drug dealing to make money, this is about a man who turns to male prostitution to make money. Second season started in the US recently, first season aired on More4.

Bones would also be to your tastes I imagine.

 Damn!!!!, Your a hard person to please TV wise.

Can i ask politely why your on a cult forum when you dislike so much that is classified/called cult TV?

Your taste in TV would be better served elseware. Not being nasty, Just you dont need to smoke a whole packet to know your not a smoker.
