Playing the Field was a drama screened a few years ago about a woman's football team on and off the pitch.
I never knew of it till it was repeated weeks ago on one of the cable channels. I watched some of the episodes.
I believe this could be remade today. As women's football has a wider appeal and there is more finance in the game now.
Some drama on TV that are made are great ideas at the wrong time to be screened. Even though it must have been a success.
Playing the field was one of them, ahead of it's time.

Yep. Playing The Field was quality TV. Full of characters that were easy to relate to. Shame it's not repeated.
