If Jai sings some really emotional song about mountains, saving the earth, the rainforest, world peace, second chances, heroes and kittens (no idea if there is such a song) he could be in with a shot, might be worth a punt.:)

I want him to sing Mull of Kintyre (not sure of spelling!) :)

I think it is worth remembering the power of the 'tweenie' vote, in my opinion it was that vote that gave George Sampson his victory in 2008 despite his running order position of 7th out of ten. It may also explain how Andrew Johnston came third that year despite playing even earlier than Sampson, the pimp spot went to Signature who were runners up.

I can't see the winner being anyone other than either New Bounce or Parkes, unless they both play very early in the show and Razy closes the show.
I agree about the power of the tweenie vote. They helped Sampson and Diversity win. But were they so influential for Paul Potts and Spellbound? I think far more adults vote in the actual final and that may count against the young lads. Razy can do this if he's got a spectacular routine.

Indeed. Was Connie Talbot (YUCK!) tipped to win her year? What was the general feeling about George Sampson?[/QUOTE]

    FIX!

I've got £10 on impressionist bloke at 16/1 and £20 on Razy at 15/2 so you lot better vote for them! :D

Ronan now 1/2 on with most bookies. He's their easy favourite. Big money must be going on him. Paul's gone out to 100/1 with some. Damn Razy has gone out to 10/1. New Bounce and Jai about 10/1.

Les has also blown it completely, he was 5th favourite with a lot of bookies and now he is last with every bookmaker.

Bookies (with Simon's backing) didn't like Razy's performance either. Can get him at 16/1 now.

Crikey, Ronan's about 5/1 on now. Bookies didn't think New Bounce were good enough to challenge despite going last.

Les Gibson's number is busy hope that's a good sign.

People may vote for him for his past impressions.

    Don't always believe the odds.

The odds are made by middle aged men, which is the opposite of who the main voters are - teenage girls.

Bloody hell, there's no point, according to the odds, Ronan is probably going to poll 80% of the total votes.

Backed Jai at 14/1 in play before he got backed down to 5/1 before the close.

I didn't think he was the best act,but thought the demographics were in his favour.

I thought so too tried to back him at 14/1 but suddenly his odds started rapidly falling. They were shortening right up to closing . interesting....

Yep I said in another betting thread that a child singer has never won BGT. That's 5 years now.

If he was the only child act and Jai wasn't from scotland then he would have won. However taking those factors in consideration then Jai was an obvious good bet.
