  The thing is with International Female is the winner is normally obvious and it is normally the most successful female of that year
  
  Although not a fan, i would love to see someone below the radar like Ms Monae win or perhaps Lorde. I feel the UK haven't embraced Lorde as well as the US have, so if she was to win, i would hope an increase in her popularity in allowing people she has done great songs and a bloody good debut album, instead of always being associated with just Royals.

  But then that shouldn't be a reason to why she shouldn't win. Katy Perry has only had one hit single. Unconditionally didn't do well over here.
