I saw some during the week with friends. A good competition to see who saw the most.

The sky here is quite cloudy. I don't think I will get to see the shower then. :(

Worth a look anyway I suppose.

Still clear here in North Cambridgeshire, in fact it's been a glorious day...

But I believe the weather is due to take a turn for the worse. :(

    You got mail. :p

There's supposed to be an ISS sighting at 9.41p.m. too.

    It's all happening up there.

Are radio stations talking about the meteors? Anyone, please?

Weather forecast is for reasonably clear skies tomorrow night for the main event.

Quite a few of us from the Cleveland and Darlington astro society (CADAS) are gathering at the Wynyard Planetarium from about 8pm onwards. All are welcome - but anyone who turns up - bring a folding chair.
(maybe you could get there nethwen)
There'll be tea and coffee on the go, and a couple of big telescopes with cameras attached, piped onto the screen in the planetarium.

Some of us might also have scopes set up (me included) for visual viewing (other stuff, not the Perseids - you can't catch an unpredictable 'whoosh' in a telescope :D )

Thin high cloud has come in here, looks like it'll get thicker as the night goes on (according to the forecast). :(
