Hello all,
I have noticed on the few times I watch CBBC, which is hardly ever, that I can get quite distracted watching their programmes. I had my friend round my house once, and CBBC is her favourite TV channel, so we watched it together and there was a fascinating arty show, about how to make things out of cardboard I think. They were demonstrating everything well, but I got distracted by an instrumental of 'Me and my Broken Heart', a song by Rixton. This was in the background when the presenter demonstrated how to make the thing, and I wish there was not that instrumental there.
Another example was a Newsround special about the 2015 general election, when it had an instrumental of 'The Nights' by Avicii in a bit about introducing the views of the Lib Dems.
I wonder why this is that CBBC always put instrumentals of charted songs in their programmes. It is very annoying and sometimes puts me off watching CBBC.
Cheers,
Alex Cator
