It is your winter holiday, your choice how you spend it away from the tyranny of work hours. :)

The highlight of my tv watching was an old X-Men film on +1.

    :D

The XMen films do not include James Corden, so I am happy.

I am not a big fan of her, not sure why, probably some saccharine effort when she was a child.

Jimmy Corden is someone I avoid.

I liked Hayley she did some nice films like The Family Way and some obscure movies like Deadly Stranger the one I am downloading now.

It fits in with movies which are obscure many of which I download from before 1930.

It is hard to avoid him on tv, he has a good agent.

I just read a summary of the plot of Deadly Stranger, the sort of film I would have enjoyed long ago but not bothered now.

Before tonight I had not heard of it but someone said they would like to watch it.

    I can download anything.

That is very kind of you, one show vs hundreds over the years. Apprentice is the only UK tv show I have recommended. :)

I rely on you to source the downloads especially for the unusual ones.

You have found many others that we have enjoyed and not enjoyed ;-)

Tonight was my last night with vodka until Big Ben.

    Morning FK :)

It tells me Real feel is -4, cars are frosted up. Earlier I was able to walk fields in trainers as the mud was frozen solid.

:D As always, then the big names will be absent at the launch. I have not checked the latest rumours recently, the first list I saw surprised me as I recognised more than half the names. :o

If so the barrel has been turned over to allow the underside to be scraped.

    Morning Tan :)

I had a grrr moment, I was watching Suspicion (1941) on delay, went to cancel auto update at 3am, but in the process lost the delay and last 30 minutes of the film. I have read the plot ending so not sure if I will bother looking for it.

It is rather repetitive, he acts dodgy, gets a reprieve, they dance. The ending I read is rather disappointing, a leopard does not change its spots.

It was changed a lot from the book to preserve Cary Grant's image.

    Thanks :)

Getting it now, I may be glad of something to watch, tv is dire this year.
