Anyone else looking forward to Real Racing 3? Anyone heard any rumoured release dates? Looks great from the screenshots they have released http://www.ea.com/uk/real-racing-3-ios/images/real-racing-3-cars

Would prefer to wait if it means a better game :-)

Won't even download if that's what they think of us.

Bottom line quote:
Another franchise ruined by EA.
Sadly for me it's lost it's edge. Graphics and game play are glossy but don't match the game play of Real Racing 2. Seemingly it's free as theres lots of add ons to buy?
Before the Need for Speed games lagged on graphics but Most Wanted is console quality with much better graphics.
I like it so far, in small doses (which, given it's a mobile game, is fine).
I've put a couple of hours or more into it according to the game, and have only completed around 25% of the events in the first series.
I've got one car, which I fully upgraded last night. Now that it's had all the upgrades, I can save my earnings for a new car to let me enter one of the other series.
Repairs are cheap and instant, while upgrades cost more and take a few minutes or more.
In-game money is easy to earn, and you get a decent amount of money even if you don't win an event (although of course you get more if you win).
I really think that people should give this a go, instead of boycotting it because it's now from EA or because EA want you to spend lots of real money.
You don't have to spend a thing.
No need to use real money to buy a new car.
No need to use real money to pay for upgrades.
No need to use real money to pay for repairs.
You get more money if you beat positions your facebook friends achieved as well.
I like how you get notifications when someone beats your times (I like the feature - I don't like being beaten! ). I had a few this afternoon telling me my brother had beaten me in a couple of cups etc.
I've also been going back to races I originally did early on and re-doing them with my upgraded car to get more money, and to try and beat the TSM times of my friends.
I am sure you've read that incorrectly. I bet its 3.1 miles and 1.2 miles.
But any how, when you get a new car this becomes really easy.
nope on the prime production match up races its definitely 31 miles and 12 miles as i have finished second a few times and thats with the best car you can use in that category
Ah, must be a different race then.
Gameplay and graphics and 10/10 for me. Yes the IAP are annoying but you don't need them to enjoy and win. I think they could have easily charged £5 and have IAP. I am guessing the adverts around the track and the car manufacturers are helping the bank account right?

Version 2:
- Real-Time Multiplayer [iOS only]
- Lamborghini Veneno and McLaren P1
- Vertex event series for the new supercars
- Various fixes
As mentioned in my post before yours, the one that bumped the thread
I'm just answering a question bro
i can see how the servicing times will get longer and progress will be slow.
As you progress you'll find you have to constantly play the game to be able to proceed because your cars will require all of the upgrades to progress through some races.
I give up on that because RR3 really does waste my battery and I don't want to keep charging my phone all the time.
I can see this happening.
it looks so good on my nexus 5 though.
