Connection dropping - Ipad

My Broadband has worked with no problems for 13 months. 10 days ago it started dropping. Sky reckons it's a wireless issue. 3 phone calls over the last few days and it's still the same. Latest phone call earlier they asked me to try all the channels & they'll get back to me tomorrow.
What I have maybe noticed tonight is that it's when I pick the ipad up it goes, all devices drop, not just the ipad. This might just be a coincidence but is it possible it's to do with the ipad?
