Gravity is a great song !

I hope the promised revamp isn't too drastic though (although the ending needs to be better than "BOOM! Gravity")

They should do BOOM! -- Jazz hands -- "Gravity"....it would make me laugh...

I hope they have better songs in the other semi's cos that was just a shockingly bad set of songs

Song # 5: was the best one but even that wasn't very good.

The lyrics are a little too naff to appeal to NW europe...but the rest of Europe...I think it could...but it will be handicapped by the jury -- it's not an interesting composition -- but neither was Lipstick and the juries loved it... I would say 10th-15th is a good possiblity if it is staged correctly...I think it's a likely qualifier but not a dead cert by any stretch.

I can't see Lithuania not qualifying.

    So for ballad lovers I recommend song 2 and 8...otherwise 9, 7 and 5...

2 or 8 are my picks though...;)

This sounds quite good, but I'm they have done this in the past or something similar.

Even Eurovision.tv seem to be slow picking up news from SVT

Aw, those pictures of Eyþór are nice! I like the sound of the personalised butterflies for each country. I think the graphics and postcards will be spectacular.

They used to do the "here's the artist" stuff back in the late 80s didn't they? I seem to recall Celine being stuck on a tractor in the middle of Ireland for some reason.

If it doesn't make it to the final I'll be mad. People seem to like Gravity despite the naff singing and the fact that the song is pretty much one level throughout. When it won I just stopped the stream and continued with my life.

    Naff singing :confused::confused:

I'm exaggerating. The backing singing is what I like about the track… and that's it really.

I love all aspects of it, can see how people wouldn't like it though. But I think it will do well in Malmo

The backing track and bridge was identical to Next To Me by Emeli Sande.

Wow, you're right! That's much more blatant than Euphoria / Glorious!

I know what I've ben meaning to say all day :D

Now that BBC 2 HD is launching on March 23rd (taking over the generic BBC HD) do you think it means we will not be getting another HD semi final broadcast again

In other news Wogan will be interviewed by Norton for the Big Chat :D

I love the lyrics but in a "awww English isn't your first language type of way" -- unless I've misheard -- a couple of shoes named love and space --:D -- but I'm sure I'd be far naffer in Lithuanian! :D

It's in my top 5 atm -- so I want it to do well -- I'm just putting in cold logic -- to my assessment of it's chances...

Apparently the other's called pain. It's clearly deeply metaphorical. *insert philosophical smiley here*
